Current: Art Director/Designer for Choice One Graphics located in Las Vegas. I also own a freelance/home graphic design business (XCDM - Extreme Computer Design & Multimedia).
Clients: In Both Choice One Graphics and XCDM, some of my clients are Marriott, The Riviera Hotel & Casino, Del Webb, Howard Hughes Corp., Chairlounge.com, B&K Printing and Photo Al La Carte.
Computer/Graphics Experience: As an Art Director and Designer, I've established experience in several graphics/multimedia cross platform computer programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Xpress, Strata 3-D, Premier video editing, Elastic Reality, Director, SoundEdit 16, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver. Light use but good understanding of web page design. Primarily Macintosh, however, worked with PC programs such as Corel Draw, Microsoft Word and IÕm currently learning other PC based programs. I have experience with printing setup and execution including the use of Xerox spot and full color equipment.
Personnel Management, Motivation and Training: -Interview and hire for both retail/sales positions and positions within the graphics industry. -Trained sales representatives in presentation of product, closing and other aspects of successful selling. Trained designers on all aspects from design, software use to production -Directed all areas of personnel management, including employee scheduling, daily duties of staff, and over-seeing duties of delivery department.
Administration and Management: As a retail manager, my responsibilities were full management of a retail store. This involved customer service, detailed organization, book keeping, full ordering and upkeep of inventory, and vendor relations. - In both the retail and graphics industry, I develope ideas for creating new business, prioritize work projects, implemente follow-up procedures, resulting in more efficient and profitable work flow. -Entered and retrieved computerized data; weekly and monthly sales statistics. -Maintained retail showroom from product display to cleanliness. -Involved in promotional and advertising campaigns, ranging from newspaper advertisements to company web development.
Other: My experience within the US Navy and management positions, both as a delegated worker and supervisor has reinforced my abilities in organization, productivity, and attention to detail as a team player including my ability to motivate others.
